Amy Frederick - Piano
Amy Frederick earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Alabama.  She is currently a student of Robert Marler and a Master's candidate at Belmont University, with a dual emphasis in Piano Performance and Music Education.

Ms. Frederick's unique background of classical piano and flute study combined with many years of playing keyboards and organ for rhythm and blues, country, pop, and rock bands allows her to help her students enjoy playing music with confidence and versatility at the instrument.  A published songwriter and demo session musician, Ms. Frederick has also studied jazz piano at the Nashville Jazz Workshop with Lori Mechem, Beegie Adair and Bruce Dudley.

Amy Frederick is currently Choir Director/Organist at First Presbyterian Church in Springfield, TN and performs three nights a week as keyboard player/vocalist for the band Liberation.  Her solo CD, "However We Like," was released in 2003 on the indie label, Greenbaby Records.

Ms. Frederick's professional affiliations include formerly serving as a teaching artist for the Nashville Institute for the Arts and as recording secretary of the Nashville Area Music Teachers Association.  She is currently the Chair of the Nashville North Center of the American College of Musicians, a member of Music Educators National Conference and recently became a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music.    She has served as a board member of the Willow Oak Center for Arts and Learning of Robertson County and has been an arts features contributor to the Robertson County Times.
