Sherry Francis Merideth - violin
Sherry Francis Merideth teaches over 30 private violin students at the Suzuki Center of Nashville and Belmont Academy. She also teaches classes at St. Cecilia Academy and Overbrook School and is the current Vice President of the Middle Tennessee Suzuki Association. A Nashville native, Mrs. Merideth attended DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois as a scholarship student of Joe Genualdi. She received her Bachelor of Music with highest honor, double majoring in Violin Performance and Music Education. In 2005, Sherry completed her Master of Music in Violin Performance at Belmont University, where she studied with Elisabeth Small and performed as concertmaster of the orchestra and violinist with the Graduate String Quartet. Sherry has participated in the Killington, Garth Newel, and Meadowmount School of Music Summer Music Festivals. She plays frequently for orchestras and events throughout the Middle Tennessee area, including performances with the Transiberian Orchestra (2005, 2006), the Beatles Festival (TPAC 2005), and the Gaithers (Homecoming Videos).
