Sabrina Laney Warren - voice

Sabrina Laney Warren is an Adjunct Instructor of Music in the Belmont University School of Music. She teaches applied classical voice.

Ms. Warren completed her Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy at Belmont University and her Bachelor of Arts, in Music from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA. Ms. Warren recently obtained a certification from the Northwest Institute of Voice and uses the teaching technique developed by the founder, Thomas R. Blaylock. Furthering her vocal studies, Ms. Warren has also had additional education in Graz, Austria at The American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS).

Ms. Warren has been featured in several operatic and musical roles. Such roles include Virginella (La Perichole), Lucy (The Telephone), Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Frasquita (Carmen) and Maria (West Side Story). Ms. Warren is currently singing with the Nashville Opera for the 2006-2007 Season.

Her proficiencies in Spanish, German and Italian languages aid her vocal performances and help extend her student’s learning. She has also worked with such renowned musicians as Harold Heiberg, Martin Katz, and George Shirley.

Ms. Warren is an advocate for the performing arts and has extended her knowledge of opera and the musical arts into the community and the public school system.
